Yazoo Community Scholarship Fund
A Non Profit Partnership with the Junior Auxiliary of Yazoo City, Bank of Yazoo & The Community
Established in 1974, The Junior Auxiliary of Yazoo City and The Yazoo Community Scholarship fund have helped Yazoo County college students fulfill their dreams. Education for our young people is crucial for Yazoo County youth, so that is why year after year we ask Yazoo County residents to reach deep into their hearts and pockets to help us fund scholarships for deserving students.
YCSF scholarship is offered to all high school Seniors enrolled at a Yazoo County School (Yazoo City, Yazoo County, Manchester Academy, and Benton Academy) with a GPA of 2.75 or higher. Award money is variable depending on charitable donations for that year. Students must be enrolled as a full time student in a Community College or University.
We want to help Yazoo county youth to have the educational opportunities that they need to be able to come back home and make a difference. With over 400 scholarship recipients since we started the fund, our banks, businesses, churches, hospitals, and schools have benefited and will continue to benefit because of this years graduates.
